Snuck away into the bustling north of Seoul lies the iconic Gyeongbokgung Palace. This photo was taken at the start of June 2018. The Gyeongbokgung Palace was the primary royal palace residence for the Joseon dynasty of Korean history. The gigantic palace was built in 1395 and has braved the years in the north Seoul area of Jongno-gu (a northern area of the metropolitan Seoul that is growing rapidly alongside the palace and has a well-perserved heritage town called Seochon Heritage Village).

Gyeongbokgung Palace is Seoul's most adored tourist attraction, located in Jong-no District, which was built in 1395 during the Joseon dynasty. Since it was the largest of the Five Grand Palaces, it served as the home of Kings of the Joseon dynasty, the Kings' households, as well as the government of Joseon.
