The illuminated street signs of the restaurants and shops in the popular Gangnam district of Seoul which were shot by me on my phone at the end of May of 2018. There were so many sparkling lights and flashing signages that I thought I was at a forest fire. Gangnam is a wealthy neighborhood of Seoul, South Korea. The district garnered massive popularity, and you would have heard this as well, with the famous song, 'Gangnam Style' by PSY who has said to been residing in Gangnam at the time the song broke World musical choreography records (in my opinion, I am up for a debate).
These were the street signs in Gangnam, Seoul. The illumination of the street shops and restaurant lights broke through the darkness that eclipsed the windy Korean city during the summer.
“Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.”
This was truly the city that never sleeps, especially the bustling streets in and around Gangnam district. The food was extraordinary, to say the least, and the late hours spent at the PC bang made it the best experience possible.
